Terms of Service

SouthAqar is a place to list and find property in Upper Egypt. We are a listing service only: we own none of the property advertised, we collect no rent or purchase price, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and an advertiser.

Any agreement, payment or contract is directly between the two of you, and at your own risk.

Sign-in is through Google, a phone number, or email, and is handled by Google's Firebase. We store no password for you and cannot see one.

One account per person. You are responsible for what is published from your account, and we may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Seeker: searches, saves, and sends inquiries. Owner, broker, or company: publishes listings; a broker or company needs a registered organisation before publishing. Admin: reviews listings and reports and takes moderation actions, every one of which is recorded in a permanent audit log.

Every listing passes a human review before it appears in search. Review checks that the information is complete and clear; it is not a guarantee that everything the advertiser said is true.

Verification badges appear only after a team member records that they carried out a specific check. What has not been checked carries no badge.

We may refuse or take down any listing, and we tell the advertiser why. How many listings can be active at once is limited by the advertiser's plan.

Photographs you upload must be of the property actually advertised. Images taken from the internet, or generated images presented as photographs of the property, are not allowed.

We strip location (GPS) data from every image on upload. A phone photograph carries the coordinates of where it was taken, and publishing that means publishing the owner's address.

Fake listings, or listings for a property you do not own or control. Harassing or threatening another user or the team. Discrimination on grounds unrelated to the property itself.

Inquiries sent with no genuine intent, or using contact details you received through the platform for anything other than completing a property arrangement - no marketing, no resale, no sharing with a third party.

Pornographic, violent, or illegal content. We may remove it and suspend the responsible account immediately.

A seeker never pays SouthAqar anything. Advertisers work on plans with an active-listing cap; professional plan pricing is not yet set and is currently shown as "talk to us".

Only an admin can change an organisation's plan, through an audited, logged action.

We own the platform itself: its design, code, and branding. It may not be copied or commercially exploited without written permission.

You keep ownership of content you upload - your listing's photos and description. Uploading it grants us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it as needed to operate the platform.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of what an advertiser writes about their property, the property's actual condition, or whether the other party follows through on what you agreed.

View a property before paying anything. Do not pay a deposit before viewing. SouthAqar is not a party to any payment made between you and an advertiser.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms - with notice in ordinary cases, without notice for serious violations.

You may close your own account from account settings at any time. Exactly what happens to your data when you do is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally is submitted to the competent courts of Sohag.
